Hiring
If you are interested in hiring me as an illustrator or otherwise working with me in a professional capacity, please familiarize yourself with my Studio Policy below and contact me through my email lyd.rigtrup@gmail.com, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I am always happy to answer questions and communicate with potential clients as much as needed!
Studio Policies:

Illustrator will only work under a signed agreement, after agreement has been signed.

Contracts with no room for negotiation will be declined, as well as work-for-hire contracts.

A percentage of the estimated total payment must be paid to the illustrator before work begins, often around 50%.

Excessive revisions, project cancellation, and major changes will incur extra fees, defined in the agreement.

Generative AI is not used in the making of the art. Additionally, the client does not have the right to put any materials given by the Illustrator through any kind of AI model.

(Contracts don't have to be complicated like this example. They can be simplified if you wish. Ultimately contracts are to protect and benefit both parties.)
Contracts and policies like this are standard for (but not limited to) clients who are businesses, clients who will be using the work to earn money, when the work is being published or distributed in some way, or when the work exceeds $200 in value. If a project falls outside these stipulations---or in other words, less serious than these terms---please refer to my commission information below.
Commissions
If a project is for casual personal use, please contact me through an Instagram DM or through my email. Commissions are usually things like simple character drawings or other illustrations. These projects are not to be used for the client's monetary profit in any way, and usually retain similar policies to the above studio policy, though a signed agreement is often replaced by a simple verbal (or messaged) agreement.
